Youth4Jobs’ College Connect Program tackles unemployment and underemployment of educated youth with disabilities. The program trains students with disabilities who are enrolled in colleges in soft skills and subsequently provides them with job placements in local vicinity companies. Another division of the program focuses on training graduates according to sector-specific skills. This initiative is market-led wherein local company needs are first mapped and trainings are subsequently done outside colleges. The objectives of the process documentation were to highlight the gaps and successes of the program which can then be integrated to sustain, strengthen and scale the next phase of the program; as well as create a resource document to build institutional knowledge on strengthening planning, design, implementation and evaluation of other similar programs.
